Synopsis : Agent Heath Baretta is questioning Pamela about her involvement in a murder.  The victim, Gary Maxwell, is a man she met online in a virtual reality game called "Second Senses."  The problem is that Pamela has never met Gary in person.  She has only known him as an avatar named Jared.  In the game, he was her lover.  Now he is dead, and Pamela must prove that she is innocent.

Rescuing Bear

Synopsis : Susan and Charlie were content with having two dogs until Clara calls them looking to place a hurricane Katrina rescue (Bear) who has been in a kennel for a year after the storm.  The dog is a pedigree Brittany Spaniel, and looking at his picture, is a stunning animal.  The couple are moved by Bear's sad story and agree to adopt him.  But when they get the dog home, they discover that he has multiple illnesses and that he can barely stand.  He also looks nothing like the picture Clara sent to them.  They wrestle with whether or not to send the dog back, but soon fall in love with him and decide to keep him.

Wedding Bell Jitters

But when Catherine accepts the challenge and begins telling Father Tom more about her life, he gets much more than he bargained for.

Jason must have drugged her and kidnapped her. She hopes that Mick will come to rescue her soon.

Itís going to be a wonderful party. But his neighbor, Jackson, becomes impatient with entertaining the guests at his house, so he launches a surprise of his own. When Jackson breaks into the house looking for the champagne, Roz thinks heís a burglar and reaches for the baseball bat in the closet. Daryl tries everything to distract her, but in the end, itís Roz who pulls off the biggest surprise of all.

Synopsis : Eleanor Hale is struck by a car while walking to a business luncheon.  She finds herself staring into the face of a stranger named Pete. Is she lost? Probably. She asks Pete for directions to the restaurant, but he tells her that she has arrived at ďThe Resort,Ē because she is no longer breathing. Thatís right, she is dead. She must now complete processing before moving on, and that means that she must pass through stages of denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Eleanor, thinking that this is a bad joke, tries to walk away. But what is it about this man that has her captivated? He seems to know things about her thatÖ no thatís ridiculous. She canít be dead. Or could she be?

The Intervention

Synopsis : Dawn is ready to participate in the intervention that sheís certain will save her Aunt Ethelís life.  The entire family is to congregate at Dawnís house to launch the deed.  Aunt Ethel will expect that she is attending a dinner party, although this will be a party of a different sort.  But the surprise is more Dawnís than her aunt's.  None of the participants show up and Dawn is left to wrestle with her Aunt Ethelís alcoholic behavior on her own.

Synopsis :  All Martha wants to do is watch a simple television show.  But Ma is snoring so loudly that the television could not be heard if you crawled into the speaker.  A simple nudge should wake her up and solve the problem.  But that turns out to be a mistake.  Ma is not about to sit peacefully while Martha enjoys her entertainment.  Not when Ma has so much on her mind.

Where Time Is Money

Synopsis :  Kimberly is on her way to a business meeting when her car breaks down leaving her stranded in a deserted town in the middle of nowhere.  Well, the town is not exactly deserted.  One lone resident, Bernice, runs the deli and the gas station/mechanic shop.  Perfect!  Get something to eat while the car is undergoing repairs.  Except the legal tender in this abandoned town is time, that is time subtracted from your life span.  A roast beef sandwich and a diet coke will cost her forty-five minutes.  The car will be forty years.  Of course, Kimberly believes Bernice to be suffering from some sort of dementia, so she agrees to humor her.  Kimberly quickly learns that the true cost of time may be her life.

The Mother of Invention

Synopsis :  Sister Margaret has a secret.  A visit from a stranger threatens to unveil her hidden past.  Brook is looking for her birth mother, and she approaches Sister Margaret with one question, ďAre you my mother?Ē  Will the sister embrace her daughter that she surrendered many years ago?  Will she confront the demons of her past?  And if Sister Margaret canít do that, how will Brook handle the rejection?

Synopsis :  Janet Branson knows that her husband is cheating on her.  She has always known it.  There have been many women, but her husband has in the past moved on after a short time.  But this time, Janet fears the worst.  This time he may not come back.  So itís time for a plan, and Janet has a good one.  Sheíll pose as an FBI agent to get into Mirandaís house.  From there, the murder should be a simple task to accomplish.
